Although there is a way to e-mail the Mayor and City Council at one central e-mail address, it is far more effective to contact Councillors individually. City councillors tend to respond better to individual letters and phone calls than to generic form letters. If you plan on contacting councillors individually, please keep these points in mind: Some councillors have a long history of being in favour of the stadium project. For example, Suzanne Anton and Peter Ladner are strong supporters of the stadium. If you write to these councillors, please let them know you appreciate their support. Be friendly, civil & persuasive in your tone. Politicians are used to being badgered, insulted and abused on a daily basis and they learn to turn a deaf ear to it. They're more likely to listen to reasoned, well-thought out arguments in favour of the stadium.
